Drums Alive! Bring Out Your Inner Rock Star

Presented by Anne Poirier, fitness Specialist/Strength and Conditioning Coach at Colby Sawyer College, New London

Master Trainer for the Drums Alive Organization

One of our members, Barbara Bailey, was part of a field day presentation by Anne at her school and she was able to try it out.  She stated ‘it was phenomenal – involving all types of midline crossing, upper body, bilateral, motor planning and even fine motor skills’.  She said PE and music teachers have also used it.  It was a fun presentation with everyone joining in and being very impressed by it.  One can access the web site to learn more about it and view a video –

I would love to have anyone attending invite their music and PE teachers to come along – it sounds like a great way to cover/support some OT goals in PE and music classes!
