Goals:

1. Participants will identify components of emotion regulation in relation to psychological well-being within the scope of inpatient behavioral health

2. Participants will identify 6 specific emotion regulation topics that can be utilized with patients

3. Participate in an activity to anticipate how a group plan on emotion regulation can be utilized for treatment

Mr. Rob Daisy is a student at the University of New Hampshire in the Masters of Occupational Therapy Program. Mr. Daisy received his BFA in Music Performance and Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate from Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh PA. Prior to his enrollment at UNH, Mr. Daisy was an educator and woodwind specialist teaching students aged 5-70 and performing with diverse groups such as the Pittsburgh Symphony and Lynyrd Skynyrd. As a student at UNH, Mr. Daisy was a graduate research assistant to Dr. Therese Willkomm and served as an intern at The Krempels Center in Portsmouth NH. After his internship was completed at The Krempels Center, Mr. Daisy was asked to remain in a paid position to lead groups through the summer of 2016. Additional, The Krempels Center has asked Mr. Daisy to return to model leading groups to new interns. Currently Mr. Daisy is completing a Level II fieldwork placement at Concord Hospital in the 5 West Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit and will be starting a Level II placement at Northeast Rehab Hospital in Salem NH in April of 2017. Mr. Daisy will be graduating in December 2017.
