Presenter Bio: 

Penny J. Demos has been an OT assistant for almost 40 years with more than 30 years in the school system.


1. After learning about options, participant will be able to name two organizations/resources to obtain prosthetics.

2. Participant will be able to name two pros and two cons to 3D prosthetics.

3. Participant will be able to state two ways that occupational therapy practitioners can assist their clients and students with improving their independence through problem solving and thinking outside the box.

Parking & Directions:

Please turn onto Fir Street, located off of Elm Street.  Parking is available immediately to the right, or you can turn left and travel to the designated visitor parking lot.   

Enter the building at 22 Fir Street, where there will be a security guard to let you in.  The presentation will take place in rooms 118A and B.

She helped him get a 3D printed hand to improve function and self esteem. Learn about the process and the ups and downs of trialing this new prosthetic. Come see where they are now.
