OT Children and Youth SIS Meeting

Wed. 6/4/14, 6:30 – 8:30 pm

Rundlett Middle School Concord, NH

The Zones of Regulation Program - how it can be used in your school system,  is an alternative alerting/grounding program

facilitated by Penny Demos, COTA and Traci Johnson, OTR

Traci and Penny are known to us and at our share a form night, Penny mentioned this program and passed around a book on it.  People were very interested and we said we would do it in the spring at our last meeting and hear how it worked.  So here we are.  It is similar to the Engine Run idea but perhaps easier to access and use across the board.  It will be a forum to share info on this system and Traci and Penny will bring an ipad to show some apps and also a glossary and background info.  We can bring any ideas, findings, items, data collection sheets, etc. that we have used relating to The Zones.

This is a program that is gaining momentum, recognition and is proving to be very successful so it should be a good night even though it is a busy time of year!

2 CEU's, members - $10, non mem. - $20, students free, no need to RSVP
