    Topic: Minding Your Head and Practice in the Time of COVID 19

    Mindfulness is a buzz word today that is often used loosely, but actually has strong research behind it. Working as therapists in schools, health care, home care, rehab or other settings brings challenges to us on the front line. The “hubbub” of discombobulation is here and unfortunately not going anywhere in the near future. Have you been feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, irritable, out of sync, worried, dull, or even depressed? These feelings are real and in direct relationship to our world right now. Come and learn how to put the oxygen mask on yourself first, not just for you, but for best practice. I’ll teach you strategies to take away for yourself and possibly your clients to help ground you, center your world, and keep you in the present. Isn’t participation in helping ourselves what we expect of our clients?
