Description

Roundtable: School Based Evaluations for Occupational Therapy Evaluations Are you a school based occupational therapist who regularly conducts evaluations? If so, this round table discussion is for you! I use standardized assessments for my evaluations, but often find myself with little time left to observe the child in their classroom setting, talk to the classroom teacher, and touch base with related service providers. Join me and another school based therapist as we host a discussion on what NH school based occupational therapists are using for formal and informal assessments. OT students are welcome to attend! No previous experience in the school setting is necessary. OBJECTIVES: 1. Discuss school based occupational therapy standardized and non-standardized assessments. 2. Discuss with the group the benefits and limitations of these assessments. 3. Discuss collaborative assessments with educational teams. Led by Joan Kurr, OTR/L and Ariel Gosling, OTR/L Recorded May 8, 2024 CEU certificate is awarded after the evaluation form is received. Please allow 2-3 business days.
