Resources for Occupational Therapy Practitioners

The New Hampshire Occupational Therapy Association, NHOTA, is a professional membership association. We strive to support our members through networking opportunities by providing continuing education and through a legislative watch, among other activities.

RESOURCES

NHOTA is not the licensing agency in New Hampshire - this falls under the responsibility of the Office of Allied Health Professionals, governed by the OT Governing Board. Contact them at 271-8389 or visit their website at https://www.oplc.nh.gov/occupational-therapy-governing-board

NHOTA's representative to AOTA can be contacted by emailing aotarep@nhota.org.

For questions about legislation, please contact legislativechair@nhota.org.

NHOTA strives to support members in understanding their professional responsibilities under the OT Practice Act. The Administrative Rules provide specific practice requirements in New Hampshire for OT professionals.

NHOTA is actively involved in maximizing opportunities for our professionals and in clientele access to services, through state and federal legislation. NHOTA relies on a strong membership to make this possible.

Please consider becoming a member of NHOTA and help us envision our future!
