NHOTA welcomes you to our Communities of Practice (CoP) group meetings!

NHOTA invites you to join us (from the comfort of your own home) on 06/6/2023 for our Communities of Practice. All are welcome to attend.  NHOTA members earn CUEs !!! (Not a member? ASK US HOW!!)

What is a community of practice? (CoP)

A community of practice is a group of like-minded people “who share a concern, a set of problems, or a passion about a topic, and who deepen their knowledge and expertise in this area by interacting on an ongoing basis” (Wenger et al., 2002, p. 4.).

What can you expect?

We envision the NHOTA CoPs to be an ongoing dynamic group of Occupational Therapy professionals who meet regularly with the intent of advancing their professional knowledge. The result will be a group of therapists, and future therapists, who are committed to networking, sharing ideas, problem solving, and growing as professionals while promoting the profession of Occupational Therapy. The focus of our time together will be on learning within a social environment. Our goal is that all attendees will feel empowered to share their experiences, ask questions and learn from others who practice within similar areas.
