New England Occupational Therapy Collaborative

The New England Occupational Therapy Collaborative unites state OT associations across New England to provide shared membership benefits, professional development, and collaborative opportunities.

Leadership from each organization meets regularly to share successes, ask questions, and collaborate on strategies to enhance member benefits and strengthen the profession throughout New England.

NEOTC is a partnership of six state occupational therapy associations: Vermont (VOTA), Connecticut (CTOTA), Maine (MEOTA), Massachusetts (MAOT), New Hampshire (NHOTA), and Rhode Island (RIOTA).

 Why This Matters for Members

  • These collaborations help expand learning opportunities and networking beyond your home state.

  • As part of the Collaborative, members often get cross-state benefits like discounted event registrations and shared CEU opportunities.

  • Legislative engagement and licensure compacts can directly influence practice mobility, advocacy impact, and workforce sustainability across New England.

About NHOTA

The mission of the New Hampshire Occupational Therapy Association is to advance the practice of occupational therapy in our state. We will accomplish this mission by supporting OT practitioners with education, mentorship opportunities, and fostering communities.  We will advocate for the profession's growth and quality at the local, state, and national level. NHOTA will raise awareness an educate the public on the unique contributions of occupational therapy.
